I replaced the original Pirelli scorpion trail tyres with the updated Pirelli scorpion 2. While nobody rated the original tyres; I found them really good for grip. The downside was that they wore out quickly. But I have always been willing to sacrifice wear for grip. They were the original fitting on my last bike (Honda crosstourer) which was a heavier bike, and the tyres performed equally as well. Now I have changed to the newer version, I have had the back end step out a few times. This could be due to ambient temperature not being much above 10c at this time of year. However when it step out; even by a small margin, it does ruin your confidence. These tyres look more road oriented than the previous tyres, and are OE for the multistrada, and according to the blurb will last longer. But he grip; mmm! Anyone who has them on their multi rate them or had the same experience as me?
