I need to buy some tyres for my 996, they will be for track use only. Last year I ran with Pirelli Rosso Corsa's. Was thinking of trying Super Corsa SC's, if I'm not quick enough could this be a bad choice? i.e. I might not get enough heat into them. Would SP's be better for me? Not too bothered about price, just want a good performing tyre for my capability. I'm certainly not fast Intermediate or Fast Group speed, however I'm getting quicker with the more TD's I do.
Sc2 or the sp v2 road tyre should be fine. They wear quickly and are pretty susceptible to heat cycles so use warmers on the sc2’s! But are a ‘friendly’ tyre
