as I need new tyres in a couple of months, has any one on a streetfighter switched from a SC to the Power RS? note that I am a slow ( ish ) rider, so squaring of will be an issue, also if you have experience with both then what tyre pressures are you using for both tyres for normal road use? thanks!
I see what your saying, but still want maximum grip, and aesthetically it needs to look spot on too, currently have SC on it, but I understand that for them to perform at it's best they have to be worked hard to get to temperature? Not sure that my style of riding does that, so that is why I am interested in experiences with the power rs
Also worth mentioning that I only get on the bike on nice dry days, I don't like cold or rain ( I know, wrong country lol)
A sticky tyre won't give maximum grip unless you work it hard enough to get it up to its best operating temperature.
Power RS will not be as grippy as a Roadtec01 at low temps. Touring tyres are designed to offer more grip at lower temps compared to road/trackday tyres at the same low temps. So you want grippy? Get Similar to Roadtec01 if yoi don’t like their pattern. Mind you, you may as well get anything black and round as I suspect any tyre will be good for you as long as it looks good?
