Pirro is a good rider, plus he's a company man. He managed to forge himself a nice little career with Ducati. Wouldn't mind seeing Canepa on the full on Desmo
Not sure if this has been mentioned already but Cal to miss Argentina race will further problems to the damage to his finger from the last race accident.
I'll be surprised if Cal stays with Ducati beyond this season, in fact I'll be surprised if he lasts the season.
Its not this year that matter though, its all about the 2015 season. Cal has the right attitude to ride the Desmo, but the problem is just how far behind Honda the Desmo will be
I agree, but Cal doesn't seem overly impressed. Other than with his pay packet. He knows he's made a mistake.
It was the smart choice. Two years on the Desmo, massive paycheck, success or failure, then retire. Im sure somebody like Shane Byrne or James Toseland would have loved that deal
