That's the third one I've seen that I like - who'd have thought it, but that engine lends itself to being played with. I very nearly bought the basics of a CX500 special a few months ago - it was funky and showed loads of promise.
They can't even be picked up cheap any more, the Hoxton mafia have fucked the bargain bikes right up I vividly remember my CX trying to kill me as I healed it over going onto Kingsway from Aldwych, there are Harleys with better ground clearance. Horrid fucking thing it was. If you paid more than ten pounds for one you was robbed.
It looks good though. Clean and well proportioned. Can't see properly from the picture but the seat and tail unit look good. That's where a lot of cafe racers go wrong. Imagine an 850 Guzzi engine in there and then your talking.

So no chance of selling my CX500 Custom with a classic "my little pony" paint job on here? Shall we start the bidding at £1500?
