Plastic Tank, Drainage And Bleed Pipes

I have a blocked drain pipe on a plastic M695 tank.

Is the system in the plastic tanks the same as the metal ones. ie rubber pipes connecting the tank filler plate to the outlet nipples at the base of the tank or is there some other system. On the parts list it is unclear, it just shows the nipples screwing into the base of the tank but no details of the inner plumbing.
