  2. looks like a nice clean bike, one thing i noticed, is that the ike has the engine side covers fitted, but not the larger heat shield for the rear pipe.

  3. Hate the lack of attention to detail. Advert opens up 2 owner bike but towards the end of the blurb it becomes a 1 owner. Personal taste, the aftermarket wheel decals aren’t ...... tasteful that is. Price looks fair compared to the 2 others on eBay that are a grand more expensive. It’s got Oxford heated grips fitted as well. Worth a trip out if you are reasonably near. Andy

  4. 2 Owner then 1 Owner further on in the description
The Tri Colours seem to have bottomed out in 'asking price' already and climbed slightly.
A pre Christmas £14,500 would be good considering the low mileage if it all checks out, but you might have to settle at £15k  £15,500 would be mean. But they may drop a little next year depending on the political climate, if the pound plummets though they will all end up abroad :eyes:

  5. I always buy on condition. All the blurb/history can be massaged, the present condition is just that. You can tell if it's been pampered. Even looking round the sellers gaff gives you clues. Obviously you have to know what you're looking at. If you're not too sure, take someone who does.

  6. Looks well priced in my opinion...

Has a few extras on there...
    - Carbon Swingarm Cover
    - Heated Grips (Probably been subject to winter use)
    - Rim Tape, nose decal & valve caps (personal taste I guess)
    - Grips dont look standard
    - Hard to say for sure but looks like it's got DP tail tidy & smaller LED indicators?

I can't for the life of me remember whether the DP screen was standard issue with the Tricolore, mine came with one though. Also, I think the small carbon heatsheild was standard issue. One on the bike doesn't look carbon?

The bike should come with a host of bits too - Standard exhaust, standard seat, upmap key etc...

As stated by Stu above, they seem to have bottomed out and started climbing slightly... There's questions required to bottom out how many previous keepers on the V5

Overall it looks tidy enough, if close enough go and view it or perhaps ask for assistance on here to see if anyone is local to view on your behalf?

    HTH.

  7. Looks to be a relatively clean bike. Chain has some early signs of corrosion, but nothing major.

  8. Knew i had some photo's of the kit which was supplied to the original owner when new...

(Mine was highly spec'd from new and has had some more DP bits added to it since, so not all of this is standard issue from the factory)

Been thinking more about this throughout the morning. If i'm right in my thinking...

Over and above the 'S' model: Tricolore came with 'Special Paint Scheme (obviously), ABS, Titanuim Termi end cans (Complete with Upmap Key), DDA+ with GPS Lap Timing Function.

Based on that, I would imagine that the missing Carbon heat shield mentioned above would be down to the Tricolore linked not having the full Termi System. Screen in the linked bike also looks like the original that came with my boxes of bits...

On a second look through the pictures on my PC at work, that Rim Tape is terrible (only IMHO obviously ;)) and has just been applied directly over the standard Red Pinstripe that the wheels should have.

I would be very keen to ensure that all standard equipment is present with the bike and supplied at whatever price you can agree with them... Missing Original equipment = harder bargaining stance on purchase price in my opinion.

    Ben.

  11. After the R the Tricolor makes the most financial sense and is prettier too though

  12. Looks nice. Know nothing about this model, but in the pictures..are they scuff marks on the downpipe? If so how and why no marks on fairing etc. If they are marks then got to wonder.

  13. On closer inspection it does look like marks on the pipe. if so, at that miles and price, not what I would expect.

  14. Expensive for an 1199S but not for a Tricolore it would seem.

If the bike is for riding i would be buying a 1299 at that money. Its a far superior bike.

  16. Also it looks like it still has the exhaust valve, so is not a full system , just term slip ons, didnt tricolore have a full system on it ??

  17. i dont think so, just slip ons and upmap.

but mount a manifold kit on the bike and your away :) i would invest in a Rapid bike Evo/Race to sort out the fuelling anyway

  18. No, just ‘not for road use’ end cans. Andy
