  1. Hi all,

I have got the polishing bug, but i have noticed that if it gets wet it discolours instantly and takes an age to clean up.

Can the polished bits be covered in anything to stop having to clean it each time?

i am mainly looking at the belt cover.

    Any help is apreciated

  3. 1) Dont get it wet. :upyeah:

    2) I use a small squirt of ACF50 onto a rag, then wiped onto the alloy etc?

  4. Yes you need to use a product called bombs away it's the best alloy cleaner I have ever used when building custom bikes it's American but can be found in the uk or just order it from the states . This puts a coating on the alloy to stop it oxidising google bombs away or look on YouTube it's truly amazing

  5. That sounds good I have an ally screen.

Did make me chuckle as I saw an old advert I quite liked for my bathroom on an airforce theme....'bombs away" laxatives!!! Hope it's not them!
