Hi all, I have the chance to purchase a 1999 M750 for (I believe) a fair price. Besides the belts and valve adjust (easier than my 749), anything to look out for? Any help is greatly appreciated!! I already have a 749S but a Monster is a nice second edition to the garage...
I owned a 99 750 for 16 years. The only issue I ever had was the emulsion tube in the carburetor wore from the needle "fluttering". This caused it to run rich, obviously. Easy fix, the tube was pretty cheap (it was years ago, so I don't remember the exact price). An older Yamaha uses the same carb, so parts we're pretty easy to come by.
Go for it. You won't be dissapointed. I bought one in 2012 and it is the overall favourite of my 4 Ducatis. I use it all the year round.
