Evening all Had the 2010 Multi when it first came out. I remember on this forum the Ducatisti were up in arms when this sub section was created stating that the Multi was not a real Ducati. I bet their all riding them now lol. Had numerous bikes since then and having (just to be confirmed) written off my GS in Spain I am looking at the V4. Luckily the BMW sales guy talked me into GAP insurance which runs out in three weeks! I have a question regarding luggage. Has anyone fitted the SW Motech trax boxes to the V4S? There are only a couple of pics on google. I had these on the GS and loved them. Wondering if the 40litre each side are too wide and also if they interfere with the back of the pillions legs I realise Ducati have their own but I still have the top box from my original order. I was also going to ask about range but I think the search button brings up one or two answers on that one! Thanks in advance and any photos with black trax fitted would be much appreciated
With the sw motech the suitcase should be further away from the exhaust if you don't modify it, and the 40 liter suitcases if you put them both the same exceed the meter allowed by law at least in Spain, however the specific bumot for the multistrada, they carry their anchors and the specific exhaust case if you do not want to modify the exhaust
Thanks for the replies. I didn't forsee the exhaust problem. Although looking at the promo vid on youtube (they dont show the exhaust side) they dont mention it Also on their thumbnails it shows a full case. Probably hve to go smaller on one side and larger on the other as I had on my GS
