Hi All, I'm needing to get my wheels and some other parts refinished for my M900 resto-mod build but my local place dont stock any fancy colours to make it viable for them to do 2 wheels for me. I also have some aftermarket rearsets, tope yoke and risers that I want doing in something thin such as Cerakote. Previously I have used Aero-Coat in Norfolk but they couldnt colour match some 996 wheels to the same colour they were sent to them in, and I have emailed (twice) and called (once) Triple-S with no joy so am looking for some suggestions as where else to use. I'm in Nottingham but happy to travel or ship to a decent company. Please recommend anyone that you have recently used that you rate Cheers - Ben
Cerakote Up North, near Preston. A bit of a trek for you but their work and range of colours is second to none. They’ve just done my 996R rear swing arm and got it perfect. Very reasonable on pricing too.
Thanks They did quote me a while back but prices were quite high from what I can remember. Maybe that's just how much it costs however
You could try these guys, powder coated and re spoked some wheels for me in 2017, did a great job but had no reason to use since. They’re normally at the Stafford Classic Bike Show. Bike clothing place just up the road too and just off the M42. https://www.central-wheel.co.uk/
Many thanks - my normal chap has suggested getting them painted instead as he says coating a candy red is very challenging
Redditch Shot blasting do a lot of Ducati powder coating. I had a frame and wheels recently done, couldn't fault the quality or colour.
+1 for Redditch shot blasting I've had them do a few wheels and other bits and have always been pleased
Seems remarkably reasonable! Have 3 frames need doing really and have been out off by ( perceived) cost..time to get the engine out of the 996 SPS...
