Hi Guys I have one of these kits that I had fitted to the tank baton my Aprilia. Sportouring Bike Accessories I'm struggling to find the lead that attached to the battery, I'm sure it's somewhere 'safe' in the garage. It has an SAE connector, which seems almost impossible to get here. I wanted to check if the power supply on the frame takes one of these plugs? (£10.52!) Sportouring Bike Accessories All I really need is one of these, some cable and an SAE connector, but I'm struggling to get hold of one, I don't want to pay £30 for this and then bodge the connection. An alternative supplier I've found is this guy, but I need to put a minimum order together, does anyone else need any bits? SAE Connectors
Actually I just found this, it seems that Solar panels use the same SAE connectors. It's an accessory plug, as opposed to a cig lighter plug. The sae connectors you've shown are also used by most of the heated clothing makers. A lot of camping stuff uses them too. You can get the leads without too much bother.

Yes the pics you posted look correct. Depends where you live and what is local to you. I use RS, maplin and a local camping shop, but also have a look here: Vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/switches/12vacc.php You can buy a ready made DIN accessory plug to SAE79 lead, used/made by optimate (not the white TM style conectors). Not cheap at 20 quid but saves the hassle of making one. Have a look at tecmate for a range of leads. Loads of aces sell them on line. Hope that helps.
