1. Good post. Went for first time last year, may have a crack up the hill myself.

2. Fancy running the 748 up the hill but are the noise limits strict? Would it pass on its Termis?

3. Dave on here ran his Desmo Seidici, Toesland's 999 and Capirossi's GP5 have all run the hill. As long as you don't be silly and constantly rev the tits off it in the paddock, and observe the noise curfew you should be fine.

Recently they ran Jean Alesi's Benetton up there so they can't be that bad. If you've got a valid MOT with those pipes then you should be OK. The event is not a race meeting, it just gives joe public a unique chance to run a challenging hill climb course on their bikes.

i just checked the Bugatti Owners club Website, and the noise testing (for MSA sanctioned events) is 104db trackside. No engines before 8:30am and after 6pm. This is, of course my experience, so check with the organisers

4. 47 Run The Hill tickets already gone. Only 180 available, so if you are thinking about doing it, get your skates on.

5. I did indeed run my Desmosedici last year ... very slowly - talk about a fish out of water - nearly lost it on cold tyres off the line !!!

No noise testing so you should be fine. I may go again this year.

6. I work just up the road (Bishops Cleeve), in fact my boss lives almost next door to Prescott & I've never been to this, must pull my finger out

7. OK i'm in. Just paid for a run up the hill.

8. Great.

Can i have a go on the Desmo, Dave?

9. Perhaps we should try and get a DucatiForum group together for the day?

10. Just had an email reminder through from the organisers ...

"It’s now been four weeks since the 2014 Prescott Bike Festival website went live. Since then things have gone a little mad.

Advance Ticket sales have broken all records so if you want to secure your Run the Hill Entry – don’t delay.

Hot News – barring testing commitments, Scott Redding will be taking to the Hill with us in 2014!"

It is a great family day out. I have booked to run my D16 up the hill again like I did earlier this year. Hopefully see you there

11. Hi Dave,

that's great news. I'll hopefully be working the paddock so I'll see you there. It would be nice to get some more forum members on the hill!!

12. 120 Run the Hill tickets sold, be quick before they are all gone!!!!!

13. I’ve got some good news for you Dave. There will be someone on the hill who will definitely be slower than you…………Me!

Yup I’ve got my ticket and I’m ready to make you all look really fast. Should be fun :upyeah:

14. That's a fantastic entry list. I really must go this year, mainly to see the various types of three-wheelers.

15. Six weeks away now, and days are lengthening. Who's planning to go to Prescott?

16. I am booked to run the hill but my D16 will be on a truck on the way to Portimao so I will need to do it on something else - probably my SuperDuke or maybe my RGV250.

17. The RGV gets my vote. All being well I will see you in the Paddock!
