Prescott Bike Festival - April 7th

Discussion in 'Rideouts & Events' started by Dave, Feb 14, 2013.

  1. Went last in the car as was wet and cold

Good day though - some very tasty Ducati's running the hill

Think they have now sold out on all the tickets to run the hill itself

Will prob go this year :upyeah:

  2. 100db noise limit so that's all my bikes out anyway!

  3. Yes, Skids off DSC normally runs a bike and a few of us ride up from Hants to watch/take the piss etc

Hows the noise measured? Think a lot of these run from a gantry which means 100db isn't quiet at all...if its a poke up the back then most race bikes wont make it

  4. Dunno. On the website it just says

Noise limits of 100db apply so don't bring the race can please.

  5. Be a stuff up the bum then

  6. No limit last year that's for sure - couple Desmos went up

  7. Well we shall see - as I just thought to myself "f*ck it" and booked a ticket online to go up the hill

(latest update on their Facebook page on 7th Feb said 10 places left)

  11. Hi Guys, being one of the Freewheelers I will be there helping out. It would be great to see you all there, hopefully my yellow 749 will be there somewhere. The charity really appreciates you guys coming down and supporting us. Duke,

  12. Got to fly out to Zurich early evening from London so at best will only be there for the morning and one run up the hill :-(

  13. Hi Dave, It would be great to see you, even if only for the AM runs. Duke

  14. Week to go, looking forward to meeting some of you. Duke

  15. Aye - need to start watching the weather forecast

  16. Long range forecast dry and 10 degrees, not tropical, but OK. Not scheduled to rain for the rest of the week, so hopefully our wet weather plan will be OK. Duke

  17. As I only live 15 miles from it, would be rude not to go!

  18. I'm planning to travel up the night before and stay over locally so that I can get there nice and early. My slot to run up the hill is between 11:30 and 12:00

  19. I will be great to see you Jim, I'm on the bike park so if you are bringing the duke I'll say hi
