Hi everyone I've just brought some carbon fairing lowers to replace the heat damaged original ones, anyone tried reflective sheeting on the inside of their fairings with success? I have used exhaust wrap once I found the heat damage & I think that has helped but I want some thing else to ensure the new lowers don't react to the heat Cheers in advance Andy
Hi mate I have wrapped the exhaust pipe which I think has helped but i want to be 100% sure the heat won't damaged the new bits
Thanks, I have seen that, have you tried it? The low(ish) temp of the adhesive seems to defeat the object of the reflective sheet Andy
I have used similar stuff but I can't recall where I got it from. It had the same type of adhesive found on exhaust decals....got more stuck the hotter it got.
