Prices?

  1. My hypermotard 1100 is in the classifieds at the moment at 4950, I've had no interest in it. Have I priced it correctly? It's a standard but very good condition 58 plate low miles and service history.

  2. I'm looking to buy one I think, see my other posts, but I've been surprised at the difference between the older style like yours and the newer water cooled wiz bang models. I can get a secondhand newer model for around 1£6500 , some less so that's only £1500 ish from yours but a 5 year difference . Tbh I expected a bigger gap considering the ages.

  3. I think youre about right - ive just bought and evo sp 1100 for 7.2k. I think its more a case of either people wanting to spend just that bit more and get an sp - yours would have been fine for me but ive had an s and an evo so the sp seemed like the logical choice plus if I did buy yours for example I would have to spend a tidy amount to get it up to what I wanted - full system, dyno, rear shock etc etc but for the extra couple of k ive got everything already done...

The other thing (and its a biggie) is the hyper isn't popular, we all know how good they are (especially me) I'm on my third! so its that barrier, jump, if you will that people have to make...I think they look amazing, but some would say an acquired taste...

You are also at the start of the summer so if anything from now onwards it may sell...or is more likely to...

  4. Hello there, may not be up your street, but I've got a 2013 hypermotard sp, up-map, full termignoni exhaust system, 4800miles, sadly cat d, I've got picture of when I bought it these will be available on people viewing the bike, sounds an looks spot on offers around £7000 ( that's £3000 under what there up for sale at with more miles)

  5. Yep but you could also say in the same vein that the older ones are holding their value....I was lucky to find mine...theres not many evo sp's for sale at the moment...just to add to that I did phone louigi moto's a couple of weeks ago asking if he knew of any evo sp's for sale and his reply was "ive got 2 in at the moment for servicing but neither of them want to part with them..."

  6. , yes I'm interested . I would pm you my email but can't see how.
Can you get me your number so I can ring and have a chat ?

  7. what do you think the same bike (with high end termi, not racing though) would be worth but 64 plate and not Cat D...?

  8. Private I would say 8.5 - 9k. 9 - 9.5k for a dealer...

  9. thanks, I am struggling to find a reliable website with up to date prices. the only one I could find (wisebuyers.co.uk) quotes that bike at 6.7k private and £6.2 trade!!! what did they smoke!!!?

  10. That's why I would never sell to a dealer.... I missed my old hyper (i had the chance of buying it back but could raise the funds at the time) i could have got it for just under 6k... He sold it to a dealer who has it currently marked at 7.2k....thats a pretty hefty hike for putting a for sale sticker on it...
