Prince William And His Ducati

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Cris_, Jul 17, 2023.

  1. Apologies if this is old news for you, for me being quite new to Ducati i've only just learnt about it. It's a short vid from a bike dealer about how he bought and sold Prince William's Panigale which i found quite interesting. Imo more kudos for Ducati than Justin Bieber flying around on one ;)

  7. It might be worth £600k+ one day. Like the Escort turbo his Mum borrowed from Ford.

  8. I play cricket with a guy who looks like Prince Harry AND is engaged to an American woman.

  12. May I offer a « suggestion du jour »? It really helped things, over here. I mean, at least for a couple years.

  14. France celebrated its Revolution last weekend.
Britain’s was stamped on before it was ever allowed to make much change.
We are just a meek and feeble population when it comes to our own rights.

  16. They called this period « La Terreur » so it must have been pretty horrible, as a matter of fact…

  17. I'm sure it was.
But the majority were starving whilst the aristocracy lived in luxury. If you have nothing to lose other than a very unhappy life, then rebellion is worth the risk.
Those running the world now would do well to heed the warnings as the number of people living under a current of unhappiness, poverty and unfulfilled lives is growing larger by the day.

  18. In my understanding, « La Terreur » is the name given to the period following the actual « rebellion ». The power vacuum left after the neutralization of the French monarchy, aristocracy and catholic Church (very important aspect of the French Revolution) led to atrocious power struggles between « good people ». Robespierre is emblematic of this period.

  19. We don’t agree much. But on this we do.

  20. I volunteer my services for the guillotine. I will merrily lop the heads off the corrupt billionaires all day long. I’ll do it for free.
