'private' plates are so sad in my opinion. but hey, if you want to wazz money away and give it to the theives in swansea because clever use of spacing and screws gives you a boner, then go for it!!
Blimey, touched a nerve? Surely its the choice of the individual what they want to spunk their cash on. And yes, I have a private plate, no clever spacing, just a plate used from my late grandfather's car. RIP

If you think private plates are sad and a waste of money then you may as well ditch the Ducati as well, it's as much of a statement if not more. If you want to chastise people for freedom to spend their earnings as they choose and put some checks in place you decide then we may as well become communists. I don't get a "boner" over mine but I do prefer it to the regular plate, it's a unique kind of transport and the plate adds a touch imho. I never cease to be amazed that people in glass houses are so keen on lobbing stones around with little ability to aim.
I have always been indifferent to private plates, but I have changed my mind now I have seen Fujacks' plate I would like that!
Fujack If you would gift it to me I would be very graceful in my acceptance. I suspect however if it's up for sale I sadly couldn't afford it. I do very much like like it though. Congratulations on getting hold of it, that must give you a grin.
