  1. Just thought there should be some balance re reliability and quality (hopefully sorted on the 2013 mts) I thought I might put a couple of links on; VFR1200 VRF1200 Problems - Honda VFR Club gs , I couldn't be bothered to look up all the links for drive shaft issues, immobiliser problems etc. all of which leave you stranded Have you had a 1200GS/GSA fuel pump controller failure - GSClubUK Forum Aprillia Tuono known problems/hints/tips. GSXR k7-8 fuse box K8 GSXR1000 Fuse Placement : Suzuki GSX-R Motorcycle Forums: Gixxer.com. Now Im sure there are loads of others, such Ohlins fork seals popping on Tuono/RSV...gearboxes on early R1s. etc etc. VFR regulator/rectifiers??? Now stop moaning, its luck of the draw:rolleyes:

  3. Yes :upyeah:

  4. Prove it

  5. I've just this minute been watching Boorman do a few on the Long Way Down, quite impressive.

  6. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.....its done by CGI :frown:

  7. Just what I need: an evening spent in the company of a load of moaning minnies.

  8. I'm thinking of starting a new support group:-
    Supporters Of Ducati's Eclectic Multi.....initially

  9. No thanks. Last time I did that on the PanEuro (by accident) it took me about 3 weeks to recover.

  10. As a now Honda CBF1000 owner, I would venture the CBF1000 and Fireblade of the 2006-08 period had issues with the stator and charging systems...

  11. I don't mind recalls and problems that aren't known to the manufacturer I can just about cope with but when a manufacturer knows there's an issue and waits for the bike to go wrong it pisses me off big time.

That'll be my Yam Tenere that ate its reg/rec and left me sitting beside a motorway in Germany freezing my nuts off while the sky dumped snow on me. Italian electrics take some beating :upyeah:

  12. Or like the BMW K1300GT with a seized rear brake at the weekend in the wilds of Scotland
