My spyke leathers, now 10 years old, are in need of a good 'service' As much as I clean em with baby wipes after every ride they need sprucing up plus the bloody zip is going. Any one know a good place Merseyside / Chester area ?? and do leathers have a expiry date, I am told alway that a Helmet should be replaced after about 5 years (?) but if thats true of one protective item would it not be true of others? I mean does the protection in your leathers deteriorate over time??
Try some Nikwax leather cleaner first and do it yourself. Its very good and worth a try. Nikwax Leather Cleaner - 300ml
A Pro cant do anything you cant do yourself for less its not rocket science, unless you need nwe zips, a clean and feed thats all anyone can do, Not saddle soap buy a good quality leather food . wear them and get the missus to rub you down !

Andelle Leathers in Bolton are very good - they offer a cleaning, repair and refresh service, and can also do lettering etc if you want.
I'm not sure, spent several days fucking about with cleaning sets of leathers. Tried scrubbers once and will never clean my leathers myself again!
