no i'm not building a pyramid, but just wondered if anyone has bought any of these head bearing kits? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271645027161
Whats the difference from a decent supplier? https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/ducati-motorcycle/Supersport/1998
I gave the link because it showed two versions of your years bike. And it's a simple click on the diagrams & scan for the specific parts on a list. If the link didn't work it maybe because it auto-logged me into my account.
I used showeperformance on eBay for taper roller headstock bearings. Genuine Koyo bearings and good service. Andy
I did see these a while ago, it was the cover for the bottom bearing that caught my eye. I think on the same web site you can buy the covers so I did that and just bought skf taper rollers. I 've popped into my local "Acorn" bearing supplies and the prices are not too bad. It's awhile ago so sorry not sure what taper rollers are going for. If you what the skf part number I can find it out. Cheers Gaz
My experience with Pyramid parts has only been fork seals and they've been absolutely gash. Three replacements in a year, fitted OEM and no further issues. Can't comment on the bearings but I'd say unless the saving is significant cheap ones will be a false economy.
