  1. Welcome to the 75th year of GP bike racing :)

    Predictions for the season anyone?

    1) Martin
    2) Pecco
    3) Does it matter?

  2. Seems Pecco has extended his Ducati contract until 2026 today, nice timing :upyeah:

  3. Forgot to add my moto 2 and 3 predictions so will go with Tony Arbs in moto 2 and holgado in m3.

  4. Pecco knows how to win now after two on the bounce, but boy does he make a meal of it. Certainly his team mate will threaten him in every round you would've thought.
Also those others satellite dukes and the KTM's are in for a shout this season if all their stars line up.

Will Honda & Yamaha / riders get their act together in 2024.

  6. I put Jorge down as my champion elect because i think he will have learnt from last season where he made a few rookie mistakes towards the end and he'll still be smarting/hungry for the fight.
I dont think 93 is favorite at this point either, unlike the bookies.

  7. Both KTM and Aprilia have been given development concessions for this year, which seems a little odd given their results last year, so look for in-season improvements. I’d love to be proved wrong but sadly, I don’t think any development concessions will make a difference to Honda and Yamaha. Andy

  8. Will a Honda or Yamaha even win a race this year ??

  9. Potentially a Sprint race but hard pushed to see either winning the main race but you never know. Andy

  10. Basti, Bagnaia, Martin, Digi. Take your pick. All good enough, there will be an element of luck, though you would tip Pecco now with the experience and race craft.
KTM close but not enough race win data. What an advantage Ducati have with 8 bikes!
MM needs to adapt to the bike, which will probably mean more crashes (told you to get shares in the fairing manufacturer for ‘24…) second half of the season should be interesting if title leader stumbles and MM remains intact.
Aprilia, probably closer imo but both riders are not ‘all season’ reliable with too many no show races and mistakes.
Honda and Yamaha just chasing the other manufacturers 2023 performance.

  11. Here is a controversial view. Jorge martin won't finish the season in the top 3, he has played his card, they all know him now, he will also through his own arrogance over reach early in the season wanting to stamp his authority on things and in doing so will have avoidable DNF's.

I also hope Bastianini now fully fit hands him his backside after all of Jorges self entitled nonsense last year regards the factory bike.

Also looking forward to the resurgence of Frankie M ...

  12. If you're on a satellite bike it's in the small print that Hell would have to freeze over before they let that happen. ie the championship.!

  13. Factory Ducati / Aprilla or KTM but not a private team.

  14. Be interesting/tedious to see the kerfuffle it will cause if 93 does challenge straight away.

  15. Harsh on Jorge because it was fine lines he lost last year imo but agree id like to see the beast get back to his 2022 form.
    Frankie, hmmmm....

  16. It'll be very embarrassing.!

  17. Also Pedro Acosta will be champion within 5 years from now.

  18. Maybe, maybe not, I think the next couple of generation needs to win one early or may never, not seeing anyone that will come and dominate, the bar is so high these days across so many riders.

  19. Cannot wait to see MM93 on the Ducati and how he does. It’s genuinely exciting, love or hate him.
