I've been running QD's for about 18 months and this weekend the spot weld that holds the mount for the exhaust valve mechanism broke Now I know its not a major drama as the mechanism does nothing as there's no valve but cant leave it flapping around and not willing to hack it off as like to be able to bring bike back to stock if ever needed. Disappointing nonetheless, so I made a small mount for it which attatches to the end can jubilee clip and IMO it is better as the cable is not so bunched up (could be why it snapped in first place) and easy access to clean and lube Will post a pic if anyone interested
