Has anyone on here transferred a set from a 12 or older bike to a twin plug engine? I'm assuming the fitment is exactly the same as the previous model?
Hi bud. Mines been transferred to my new 13 by the dealer now. Nothing raised by them regarding compatibility so shouldn't be a problem. Bolts had seized though and they had to retap a couple of threads which they weren't chuffed about. My pal who fit the thing at the time did raise some concern at the time about the quality of the bolts. A little annoying considering the cost but I still think its a great piece of kit and a must for the new machine. Baffles will be in though for the up coming France trip.
Great, thanks ojo. I leave the end caps on most of the time now, it's too bloody loud otherwise and you're wise to do this for your French trip. They don't like noisy bikes over there that much.
