Just been to see it being recorded at Media City, Salford. Very slick production, with only two tiny retakes. I thought there'd be a lot more to it that they'd have to edit out for transmission. Both Matt Dawson and Phil Tuffnell were very polished and funny. And Sue Barker was very professional. although reading the auto-cue she made it seem very natural. The guests were good too (particularly Phil "the power" Taylor. The other guests were Oliver Wilson the golfer, Shaun Murphy from snooker and Shane Williams the welsh rugby player). if you watch it when it's broadcast and you hear the teams talk to Doris (lovely old lady who was there for her 86th birthday treat) she was sat next to us  I won't tell you who won. You can wait to see it very soon.
What, Motorhead's drummer Phil Taylor was on "Question of Sport"??? Looking forward to Biff Byford hosting Eggheads and Zal Cleminson running Weakest Link.......
Used to love it...but cant think of anything more predictable or unfunny these days. Dawson and Tuffnell (particularly) are parodies of themselves and Barker is a squib. Glad you enjoyed it tho
Sounds like you have a nice evening out El T. Used to love it as a kid watching it with my dad, but that was the Bill Beaumont years
