1200 Question On Mileage

I bought my 2012 multi last week with 20300 miles showing on the clocks. I had to disconnect the batter last night to connect my optimate charger cable and now it’s showing 32798 miles.

Have I been duped? Is it even possible to ‘clock’ these bikes?

To get in to the units menu, hold the headlight flasher and push the indicator cancel button together, then turn the bike on. Andy

Hehe well I feel a bit stupid! After posting this I set off on the bike and promptly realised what had happened when I saw 120 on the clock and did a double take. Thanks folks.
