Everything about the DVT I like but would really like to see what it’s like with a quick shifter. I have no idea about them or fitting them to the DVT. Has anyone fitted one and can give me some advice on types and fitting etc?
Had a Healtech one on my first DVT, wasn't a good experience. Didn't suit the box and didn't work smoothly even after tweaking. Was only an upshifter too.
I've just fitted a healtech. Was a bit dodgy to use on first rides, false neutrals, clunks and engine cut a when I didn't want them: Mist of the problem was me getti g used to it and getti g the settings right. It's perfec t now... slick gear changes EVEN 1ST TO 2ND!! .... no false neutrals and no clunks... works down the box in higher gears too (tho I'm not a fan of doing that) Very happy now Settings : Sensor sensitivity changed from stock to 60%, min rpm dropped from 3000 to 2500 Cut off time 85mS, cut off delay 25mS
