Hi all I've just joined the forum so forgive if there has been an historic thread on this. I am interested in adding a quick shifter to my 2014 Pikes peak but do not want to spend a small fortune, my local dealer was quoting some £800 plus. As a sort of comparison I had one added to my triumph 675 by the dealer that was only £200 ish fitted. Anyone got any ideas?
I'm fitting a translogic to my DVT when it arrives, I'm going to fit the gp shifter in the linkage rod rather the a linear one . Your triumph would have had a translogic (rebranded triumph) on the trumpet its plug n play and a simple add on, on the duc there's a bit more involved and you have to connect to the 4 coils so some electrical skills are ideal, the kit alone is quite costly where as your triumph only needed the gp sensor .
