Was just getting the bike ready for its first service and spotted the R&G exhaust hanger had snapped right in two. Not great that. Images here -> Imgur: The most awesome images on the Internet I've only had it on for about 100 miles...
I have to say I've always been an R&G customer, but having seen evotech's stuff I am converted. Seems a much higher quality.
Yes, I've had loads of R&G kit over the years and never had any problem with them before. I'll be giving them a ring later this morning to make them aware. I have Evotech and R&G, I tend to pick and choose between them.I've got Evotech front cylinder guard and tail tidy on this bike and have to say that their kit is top notch. I've ordered an Evotech hanger and blanking plate to replace it.
I have the evotech Hanger and blanking plate, you won't be disappointed, looking at the picture I think it is a bit more substantial.
I've got the EVO Tech tail tidy for my 1200R and wasn't disappointed. Waiting for the EVO Tech hanger to come back in stock. It does look substantial and doesn't have a 90% 'bend', which I'd suspect is the R&G's downfall
I had an Evotech hanger on order from Italy but they don't have any stock left sadly. Called Evotech and they have some being machined presently so I'll have one of those. R&G haven't seen a failure on this hanger before, they have sent me out a replacement today and I've returned my snapped one for their review.
