R&g Plastic Engine Casing Protectors

  1. On a topic related to my other, does anyone know what the difference is between the normal R&G Racing polypropylene covers and the 'racing version'? Demon Tweeks sell both but can't tell me on the phone what the difference is. They have very slightly different part numbers and very slightly different prices... I'll looking for my 1199.

    Confused...

  2. Not 100% sure but the clutch cover used to be one solid piece. Then I'm pretty sure I saw one with a replaceable plastic puck on the bottom of the casing, typically where you'd hit the deck first. Could that be the difference?
I have a spare one if you need one (no puck), let me know & I'll work out a price, but tbh I bought a billet Woodcraft replacement cover from US. Expensive, more than the R&G's but quality! And it too has a replaceable billet puck.

  3. Cheers again Dano. By all means PM me about the item you have and let me know what you want for it.

    Cheers, RW
