Going to give it a go at the weekend and re print the instructions from the R&G Website in color as the black and white copys you get in the kit are about as much use as a ashtray on a motorcycle
Its quite stright forward, just takes a bit of time as you need to dismantle just about all of the rear end. Are you keeping the standard indicators?
For now yes will be keeping the STD indicators - is this a no no or what have you done like in the other thread what appreciate it if you can upload a pic of your tail tidy fitted
have purchased both the R&G and evotech tail tidy s ahead of picking up my 899 tomorrow not entirely on purpose but have ended up with one of each will pick which one I prefer and flog the other cannot bear to keep the standard tail tidy on any bike
never actually heard of bruudt before looks nice though If i had know about would have probably taken a closer look, but I think 2 tail tidy's is enough for me for now
Bruudt for me. Easy to fit, good engineering and blocks less of the rear lights than the R&G, Evotech and DP
I don't have any close up photos but it is quite easy to do and as you are keep the standard indicators no extra wiring to do. I thought the standard indicators looked really big once tail tidy was on so I bought some mini leds but had to add resistors to get the right flash rate. The red bit you can see behind the plate is the tax disc holder.
