Cheap and nasty universal yuck oval light and shitty indicators. Noooooo!

 

Getting the right tail tidy for my 999S was a real pain in the arse, i had 3 Evotech items snap one after the other, fitted a DP one and that was destroyed pretty quickly too,i never really got to the bottom of why they kept snapping ,fitted a home made one in the end at a ridiculously jaunty angle...seemed to do the job.

 

Without pictures to read I'm lost; rickyx option for the win!

Imho, the original tail light and indicators are an integral part of the design theme of the 999.
Trapezoid shapes are found all over the bike from the side stand to the master cylinders.
By all means change your license plate mount but please leave the lights and indicators alone.

 

Try polishing the lenses.
When they are transparent and sparkly, they look like an asset.
When they are dull, opaque and drab, they let the bike down and look as you say, clunky.

 

I agree with the stick to standard I have a Leo Vince pipe mates just made a custom bracket from stainless to mount the standard light and indicators just gotta fit it

 

Nasty. But I like the standard look myself.
