Race or comfort seat

  1. Going to change my seat on the 1199s, do I go for the comfort seat or the race seat ?

  3. My old arse needs comfort, but I have heard the race seat is better.
    So looking for some feed back on both, as they are pretty much the same price.

  4. comfort seat is the best thing on the panni ,ive got one for sale 500 miles as new cost £150 will take £100 delivered

  8. No it isn't it's the same profile, the race seat is 20mm higher.

    I've got the R seat in my Tricolore it's identical other than the materials used

  9. ahh sorry thought you meant R as in race seat ,not as in panni R thought they were the same tho, when I googled pics the aftermarket race seat was defo higher like the comfort seat,

  11. I had the race seat n the 848......like sitting on a skateboard with no wheels going down a hill.

    Stick with comfort unless you're on a track.

  13. Race seat on mine. No discomfort problems at all. Certainly good for 200 miles and 19st atop it.

  14. Want on earth does this have to do with a Panigale? Different bike, different riding position, different seats.

    Panigale race seat is the way to go. Any google search would have confirmed this without having to open the debate for the nth time.

  15. I have a Panigale R and swapped the seat out for the race seat. Much more comfort and helped a lot with the heat from the exhaust.
    I cannot compare withe the comfort one but I can say that it's far superior to the standard R seat.
