I had Rhodes & Track fit a simple lever to my 1198 to make it "Race Shift" pattern but I am not overly mad about it. It sits a bit too high for my preference and the next spline down it fouls the belly pan. I have tried rotating the toe peg but not found a position that I am happy with. Has anyone successfully made the standard set up work reversed ? I looked at it and it certainly looks possible using a shorter rod or perhaps a rod with a z in it but still using all std Ducati parts. Or has anyone bough one of the reverse shift actuators from Ebay/USA and successfully fitted that ? Best Regards Allan
Two choices. Direct spline which you have, you could always 'adjust' the fairing or use the standard lonkage and turn the spline bit upside down so the peg comes frome where it is now
I trial fitted the original linkage with the actuator upside down but the rod is too long to get the lever down to a point where I like it. So looks like this option but with a shorter or cut down rod. A
is your race shift lever straight or does it have a dog leg? i found i could not get a decent position the straight ones
Where you based? I have a dog leg one you can try and the are only about £30 new, gave Nelson one of my spares recently so domt think I have another ( I carry them in case @Cranker V2 does his usual dance with the tarmac )
That looks better than what I have. I can paypal you some money and you send it me if that's not a hassle ?

twat @bradders ................I have a few spare ones. @Proddieracer Not sure if any are the cranked version, If I do I will swap for a straight one.
No, if you were local ish you could have seen if it works the. Bought one, but you can see in the pic how it sits much better than a straight one. Do a swap with his lordship above seems a good outcome
Parts bin says no, five straight ones is all I could find. If I do come across one in the workshop I will give you a shout proddie
