Race shift with DQS on Evo Corse

  1. So I've fitted some lightec rear sets and switched to reverse shift but now I can't get my quick shift to work. It does work but only the wrong way round now (going down gears) which is obviously not healthy. Any ideas? Can it even be done? I'm scratching my head.

  2. This obviously has people stumped. Did you find a solution?

  3. There must be a setting somewhere. I have a HM one and when changed to reverse shift we had to change it on the electriky bit to make it work

  4. The DQS works by compressing the switch inside the unit. By switching to race shift you are expanding so the switch does not work. Hence why it works on the downshift.

  5. Ducati list a diffrent qs in there accessories for race shift,so i would assume you need a new qs.Phone jhp or mr i am sure they will tell you.Extract from Ducati brochure, plug and play reversed power shifter designed for bike track use,can be fitted on standard footpegs only. Why standard footpegs only ?

  6. May be because rear sets take the pegs back too far to reach the changer?

  7. Hi guys, thanks for the replies. Yes i was aware of the Ducati rear sets / quickshift system but that's nigh on £900. Surely there's a way to make the standard Corse QS work in reverse.. This is how it looks..

  8. Worse case, wonder if you cans ell this on and buy a HM version?

  9. This is how a guy got a stock lever to work with DQS in reverse shift. May give you some inspiration for a solution
