Grazie to my pal David Russell for helping me drill and tap threads to mount the RAM ball mount for my Valentine1 radar detector onto the GPS mounting bracket. Now the dash, GPS and detector are all straight line of sight, making them easier to keep visual tabs on. Two notes: 1) sorry for the blurry focus on a few of the photos ... 2) yes, i know radar detectors are not lawful in a lot of countries ... but here in California, they are allowed, and useful, as not all police departments use lidar guns. absolutely they work ... well, at least the Valentine1 radar detector does. i have been saved multiple "performance awards with fines" by using my Valentine1 detector.
