1200 Radiator Guards

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by tiktokrick, Feb 6, 2019.

  1. I am looking for a reasonably priced radiator guard for my 2014 Multi. Everything I have seen online seems to priced north of £60. Am I missing something? It is just 2 bits of metal fixed to one another?

Could anybody recommend something cheap, without me havin* to fab something up?

  2. I purchased an Evotech rad guard, oil cooler guard and sump guard as one lot, worth every penny.

  3. £ 55.00 on the bay of evil right now!

  4. £27.00 on E bay atm......dont know what itll fit like mind !
theres also a DIY kit one on there somewhere... found it its R&G and its £24.99

  5. Just fitted this set myself, very nice.

  8. The internet may be great, but links are magnificent.

None of these appear in my search results.

  9. Evotech, a little pricey but quality product. Decent materials, good fit and built/finished to last (so it appears). You pays yer money...

R&G guard on my MV was starting to look shabby after 2 years and 18,000 miles.

Have Evotech rad guard, front cylinder head guard and also their crash bungs fitted to my 1260.

  10. Evotech all day long. I've seen cheaper ones rub against the core and puncture it. Same goes for the cheap ones that secure with cable ties thru the matrix.. A radiator cost more than the extra £20 or so to buy a quality bit of kit.

  11. I concur with BigAl.
The Evotech products are top quality. Have installed both the rad and engine guard on the Monster and have purchased the same for the Multi.
