Just back from five days touring wales. Didnt see too much because of the Horendous rain and mist. But The Multi was just amazing. Never missed a beat. No Problems what so ever. Even When the rain was so hard in the mountains we could only travel at 30mph max. Definate Monsoon... I was travelling Two up with soft luggage. This bike just continues to impress. But just when things couldn't get any worse, got a puncture in the middle of no where. Ducati assist were excellent. We were picked up with in a couple of hours and taken to a dealer for a new tyre.... A great find were water proof socks. They really work. Cant say the same about some of our other gear!!! Mind you the weather was extreme
i would have gone home after couple of days, well perserveered , i was so lucky with my Welsh tour no rain at all ! not so lucky last year in Scotland but good kit helped !
I went over the Col du Galiber in the Alps in heavy rain and thick fog at the top, just changed the Multi from sport to enduro for the worst bit, much better, though couldn't find the sunshine setting till the bike got into it's homeland, Italy.
did Antwerp - Luzern - verdun in 4°C and pouring rain... as you say : sometimes 30 mph because of it... MTs never skipped a beat, never skidded, brakes were top on dosage... 2+L over 220 kg... stable as a rock at 140 kph in the rain... my god do i love that bike.. grtz Koen
