I'm after a set of raised adjustable clip ons to fit to my 916 to help my poor hurting wrists. Has anyone got a set they don't need any more? There are various types around but they all seem to be in Europe or the US so would cost a fortune in import tax
Can you store the bike until we rejoin the EU? (I just paid so much tax importing a clutch from der fatherland so I’m not insensitive to your problem).
Problem I suspect with most of those is clearance with the upper fairing cowl at full lock . You could look at a set of clip ons that have a 90deg angle from the fork centerline rather than the droop the std bars have this will give a small lift to the wrist or an old trick was to flip the std bars over to the opposite fork though you have play with positioning to avoid having the clearance problems. Either way the spend wont be as much and you'll get to see what little real estate you have to play with before committing to something that may not work as well as you'd hoped.
