The silly rubber tank-pad on my IE is slightly marked so I've been looking for a replacement for almost two years. They're no longer made by Ducati and every obscure parts stockist I've ever tried has sagely shaken their head and muttered something about 'rocking horse poo'. ^ Ha! You've been on the meths, if you can find this site selling the original Ducati IE tank pads then please post a link. For the tank you're after there are a few out there but the usual problems exist, such as internal rust or dents. Couple of NOS tanks on eBay though, just one is yellow and overpriced and the other is a fair price for new, in red, but with the grey pad.
yep seen the ones on flea bay there was a nice tank in red just what I want but it was in japan and the postage made it not worth it as for the pads well probably not meths but schnapps lol but deffo saw a site list it but probably says obsolete when clicked on doh
Indeed I did! To stash for now, am a terrible hoarder of delicate or rare parts on the premise that "I might need it one day and when I do need one of 'X' they'll no longer be available"...
