  1. Ok so it's 55mm & 230nm. Where does one source good quality kit for rear wheel removal?

  2. Got my 55mm socket from the bay £15 and a cut down scaffold tube from a building site. Forgot to look at drive size on socket so ended up spending another £11 to get a 1/2 to 3/4 adapter.

    Regards Steve

  3. Same here , 55mm socket and i use a Liftmaster 12v impact wrench digital display torque thing off Amazon for 35 quid, it works a treat!

  4. I had my rear wheel off at the dealers recently to have a puncture repaired and the tech had to reach for the cheater bar to extend the wrench to losen the nut.

  5. Got mine from here:

    Tools Today - Shop

they do the sockets as well.

Go for longest / best you can.

Toolsday seem pretty good, always get it the next day or day after and prices seem reasonable.

  6. I bought the liftmaster 12v electric impact wrench, I've used it for the wheel and the sprocket nuts (they're the same size and setting) and it works very well. It runs off a ciger lighter plug so I use a portable battery booster for power.
