Hi Guys I am about to do a belt change on my multi , and...i cannot see how to remove the rear belt cover as described above. Is it really necessary to remove the tank and lift it out vertically ? Thanks in advance keith
Didn't see this until today Keith, It's a yes I'm afraid, currently doing rear hub, next job belts, depending how long the flippin lockdown lasts maybe desmo service too!
What a pain in the rear, cannot believe how much stuff needs to be removed to do the belts. Certainly makes me remember fondly the brilliance of the 916 design. Take it apart and lay it all out on the floor in a couple of minutes
