im looking to upgrade the rer indicators on my v4s to led. when i check them out it doesnt list them as compatible for the v4s, anyone done this, and also is it a straight forward swap if they have?
Mine had the LEDs from delivery. I'm assuming it's a straight forward swap. I have noticed though, that they don't list them for the V4 anymore, which is strange. From memory, they are identical to the ones fitted to the 1200/1260.
I swapped mine from my 1260 to my V4 PP, when I fitted an evotech tail tidy However the plugs were different on the V4 so I had to cut and re solder the plugs over, no big deal That maybe the reason they are no longer listed as they have changed the plugs Hope that’s of use
Both DP led indicator kits are transferable from 1260 to V4 PP, presumably the same for all V4 MTS. The kits come with conversion fly leads in the top of the box, if I remember correctly.
I have purchased these which seem popular. The description lists them as being suitable for all V4 Multis. Yet to fit but I recall others on here already have.
Well I just went to for mine: Part number 96680971BA And they don’t fit. The plug on the indicator is much bigger than the one on the bike, I wonder if you can get an adaptor ? I don’t fancy splicing and rewiring them
I've got the same problem, connector on the dynamic indicator is different from the one on the standard indicator - 2 pins the same but much larger shell: There were no adapter leads or instructions in the box. @Oly - did you resolve this problem?
This. The indicators I received came with the adapters. Something amiss with your purchase or they (Ducati parts) have decided to stop adding them…?
And they were @Mark H & @kartman - Many thanks. Now I have to send a second email to the supplier asking them to ignore my first one
I'm still after some of the sequential indicators if anyone selling. the 1s I've bought are exactly the same as the 1s I sold and for less money
