rear shock rebuild

  1. ok guys looking into getting my rear shock rebuilt
    so looking for recomendations of someone to rebuild it and possibly where to avoid
    so anyone had one rebuilt recently
    think without looking its a showa on the ss :smile:

  6. i had a complete overhaul done on a shock including replating the shock body, new valves, new longer compression hose.....)

    it went in trashed. looked like it had be doused in acid rain for a decade and came out looking almost as good as new all that cost LOADS!!
    but i seem remember an ohlins rebuild was about £100 which included gas, oil and seals. any valve changes or non service parts are extra

  8. All Bike Engineering at Greenwich. Only ever spoken to them but they know whats what. Straight rebuild only maybe. £100ish.

  9. Just had a Showa done....£100, not by MCT, but near them.

  10. MCT rear Ohlins rebuild was £200 but that included a different spring and postage back to me.
