Rear Spring

  1. On Saturday I took my bike to Kais for a suspension setup on my 848 evo se because I felt the back was far too hard and the front a tad soft, when I sat on the bike there was virtually no rear sack the guys were really helpful and adjusted the suspension more as a road setup rather than a track setup, didn't really tested it to much on the way home as it was mainly motorway but will try and get out this week for a play.
I'm only 12 stone in weight and they suggested that I may benefit going slightly softer on the spring has anybody else swapped springs to make it more road friendly or should I stick with what I got and stay on the A roads??

  2. I was looking for some info on Ohlins spring identification markings and found the web site "Ducatiupnorth", a very interesting site indeed as it turns out. They have reproduced tables that will give you the information that matched original equipment by bike and what the OEM settings are and what spring suits what weight and whether you need to revalve. Hope it helps. Andy

  3. Anyone gone down to a 75 rear? I've put the front back to standard cos i felt it was to hard and the back is adjusted to the softies setting i think the preload is standard thow but still a little to hard and the unit is not balance (hard spring soft settings)
