Which stand is recommended for getting the wheel out? Last time I did it was a bit of a struggle. The arm has no bobbin mounts and is uneven side to side with hardly any clearance to use a universal stand. Very unsteady. What do you use? OGR
Crystaljohn replaced his chain adjusters with some tasty new ones that had a fitment for bobbins. I'm not sure where they came from though, but solves the problem.
use a 998 one single sided it fits the 999 spindle and easier to put it on the stand on your own…oops just realised you want the wheel out…..abba stand
Use the Ducati Corse 999 stand, I have 3 so may part with one - or you can borrow it if your near York?
You buy a Giles rear adjuster and get special bobbins with it that fits the normal type of rear stands. I have them on my 999S trackbike and it works really well: 20130728_1 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! br Jim
