anybody have a link for the rear wheel bearings for a 2010 hypermotard 796 please, local Ducati dealer is a ludicrous/criminal price
https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/ Used many times however people do recommend SKF bearing but I don't know the details.
If you’re not riding it for a week or so I’d just remove the bearings, look for part numbers on them and take a few measurements to confirm, I order from “simply bearings” most of the time, sometimes RS if I’m ordering tools and they have what I need.
I'm not mechanically minded enough to remove the old bearings I was hoping to find the correct ones and supply them to the technician
The old bearings will have all the information on them to buy generic replacements. It's the clearance that's the important part. Most wheel bearings are C2 clearance but it will say so on the bearing. It will be something like this Get your mechanic to take the old ones out. Get like for like replacement from simplybearings.co.uk (other suppliers are available).
Ducati does not list the bearings for a single sided hub. You're supposed to replace the hub completely, but obviously the bearings can be replaced. See the attached pdf for 748 equivalent, which has the same "small hub" as the HM. https://www.ducati.ms/threads/replacing-the-bearings-in-a-sssa-eccentric-hub.229785/
