899 Rear Wheel But Size

  1. on eBay buying a few tools go the house. What size of socket do I need for rear wheel removal on my 899?
    (I'm not at home to check)
    P.s can't see how to edit title.. Wheel nut!!!

  2. Here you go James, from an earlier post of mine :-

    Also needed a special 12 point 36mm hex socket to get the back wheel nut loose, ( its tight, 180 Nm :Inpain: ) managed to locate one at Machine mart for £10.79 - bargain!! this would have probably cost about £40 from our friendly Ducati "stealer", just a heads up to potentially save you all a few quid :)

  6. I bought mine from machine mart for £9.99 but halfords stock them also 36mm multipoint

  7. 180nm isn't tight. Try a Multistrada that setting for the rear wheel nut is 230nm. :tearsofjoy:
