  1. I've seen a couple of kits on t'internet including C spanner for the chain adjustment and socket set for the rear wheel.

Could anyone recommend any decent manufacturers of / suppliers of the same please or are these items readily available?

    Thanks.

  2. I have the c spanner - never used - for some reason I have it and have no need for it as don't need it on the 899 - got it from my Ducati dealer it's there own made version copying the original will post it for sale later if your interested paid 35.00 quid for it

  3. got my socket from main dealer 5mm I think paid £35

  4. that's 55mm not 5mm

  5. Cheers,

Sorry, I should have said - I Bought a 55mm 12 point draper "expert" vanadium socket but I'm not happy with it. It has quite a few mm's play in it and seems quite rounded to me.

  6. not sure what make mine is but fits good got from m and s Newcastle ,ask for Neville in parts he will supply you one,

  7. Got the bike from M&S. I'll give him a bell. Cheers.

  8. 55mm Draper used by M&S and as good as any for the job apparently so I'll stick with it and see how it goes.

  9. The 916 toolkit has a c-spanner. I use it on my 1198 too. Plus the 55mm draper as mentioned previously. Its a 3/4" drive though.

  10. Ok, cheers.

  11. My rear socket is two in one for front & rear. Oberon from italia moto. Local mech says it spot on. £29 or £39. I think.

  12. 55mm socket, must be 12 point. Im sure it was a Ducati mechanic who advised that I cut it down to half its length so it has less distance to the bar and less opportunity for not holding it square, thereby reducing the risk of slipping off.
