Hi all - looking for some rearset options for my v2 to give some adjustability to foot position and levers. Use the bike on road and track so need to be able to incorporate the brake light switch. any advice or recommendations would be great.
Bonamici. Simple to switch between road and race shift. Spare parts available. Need a hydraulic switch for rear brake.
Thanks do you have any dimensions of these assuming you have them. In particular I need to know the distance from the mounting point to the farthest point of the brake lever where it connects to the pin - I have an exhaust installed that comes up behind the footpeg that’s all
I have CNC adjustable on my 959 but would fit a V2 - the side you need is against the wall, will see if can find a pic But able to measure a bit - from frame to back/furthest back point of rear set is 15.5cm (see red from your pic)
Pics of the rearsets on here https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/my-winter-project-so-far-959-to-track-bike.98081/
Thanks really appreciate that - I had seen those CNC rearsets and they look great. The other option I had seen was the spider ones - they look to have the master cyclinder at a steep angle similar to the CnC which limits the space needed
If the V2 is same as 1299, DP have a set of sets which can be road or race. Ive a set on mine and I switched to race as I track my 1299. I now ride solely using race shift and wonder why the feck road shift is a thing as race feels more natural. I also run HM Sabs QS cos the oem is a pile of shit. It will fail.
Went with the CNC RPS rearsets in silver/black - hoping to get them installed over next couple of days. Will post a pic. Thanks for all the replies
Anyone on here with the CNC rearsets - are your footpegs aligned when you have them in the same mounting point on each side? I have them on the middle hole in bottom row but when I put the bike on rear stand and measure the brake side is about 1cm higher and 1cm further back? Any help? I can’t see that there are different mounting positions for the main bracket or anything
I’ve them fitted but not ridden bike since (apart from up the road and back) so I’ll have a look later
I’ve just measured them. I have on lowest setting holes, on paddock stand, they are within 1mm left and right for height from the floor to the top of the peg measured
Thanks appreciate the follow up - yours look identical to mine other than the foot peg placement. I’ll have to remeasure although CNC replied to me on socials suggesting that the current v2 model has foot peg disparity!
Well. That intrigued me and I have a v2 on standard pegs in the garage. Just measured it. They are right. The oe pegs are indeed wonky!
I know I didn’t really believe them but didn’t have the patience to remove the CNCs and re install the OEMs just to check! You have confirmed though now which blows my mind how a bike is manufactured like that! Guess I’ll leave them wonky on the CNCs given that is how I have been riding it stock!
